Drug interactions:

Adipex P Capsules is used for reducing weight in obese patients when used short-term and combined with exercise, diet, and behavioral modification. Their appetite-reducing effect tends to decrease after a few weeks. Because of this, these medicines are useful only during the first few weeks of a weight-loss program. Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Adipex P Capsules is an appetite suppressant. It works by helping to release certain chemicals in the brain that control appetite. The sympathomimetic appetite suppressants can help you to lose weight while you are learning new ways to eat and to exercise. Changes in eating habits and activity level must be developed and continued long-term in order for you to continue losing weight and to keep the lost weight from returning.
You cannot take phentermine if you
- have heart disease or high blood pressure;
- have arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries);
- have glaucoma;
- have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), or phenelzine (Nardil) in the last 14 days; or
- have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
