CURE believes that God is the creator of all life, and therefore life is sacred. We observe that the sanctity of innocent life is a defining moral principle without which it is impossible to sustain a community of shared respect. A free, equal society with mutual confidence cannot be preserved if its core reverence for life has been eroded, and therefore CURE proposes several solutions to this impending tragedy.

First of all, the misguided judicial decision of Roe v. Wade must be overturned. 60 million abortions have been performed since 1973, and often a specific population has been disproportionately targeted. One-third of all abortions burden black women, and the effects of this assault on our communities prevent positive development and advancement in our society.
Secondly, lawmakers must articulate and adopt such restrictions upon abortion as will truly make it safe and rare. Gestation limits must be enacted, if abortion is to be permitted at all. Taxpayer funding must be denied to abortion providers, such as Planned Parenthood, except in extreme medical emergencies.

CURE encourages adoption as an alternative to those considering abortion and urges those with the means to open their homes to children in need of a family. CURE acknowledges the importance of family as an integrated structure of civilization and presses its security so that society might continue to develop in a healthy, stable manner.

CURE believes in the dignity and great worth of all human beings, regardless of race, culture, religion, or any defining ideology or characteristics. We acknowledge that many times in history certain peoples have suffered greatly at the hands of others. Rather than carry this pain as a burden to pass on for generations, we encourage an attitude of forgiveness, hope, and positivity in action so that our communities may heal and move forward toward better conditions, relationships, and solutions for the future.
